Bring along a picnic lunch and join us on Sunday 26th February for our church picnic to be held from 12.00 noon in Cornwall Park, near the observatory. This is a great time to meet others and to spend some time together as families.
The Alpha Course – starting 29th April 2012
Over 16 million people worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.
People attend Alpha for a wide variety of reasons;
- some want to investigate whether God exists.
- others may have gone to church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.
- Some just want to understand other people’s beliefs better.
In any case everyone is welcome.

The Marriage Course is for any couple who wants to invest in their relationship, whether you have been together 1 or 61 years, and whether you have a strong relationship or are struggling.
The next Marriage Course at GPC will be starting 5th August 2012 at the manse, and will run for 8 weeks.
