Ministries
Sunday worship
Sunday worship starts at 9.30 am.
Tongan language service starts at 12.30pm.
We place an emphasis on sound bible teaching at the heart of our worship services. Jesus Christ is the focus of our faith and worship music.
Children’s ministry
Children join us in the service for the start of our worship, then leave for their own Kid’s club program, led by our Children’s ministry team.
Youth ministry
The youth join us in the services for the start of our worship, some weeks staying to enjoy the service, and other weeks leave for a special youth program, and once a month to assist with the children’s program where they work with the younger children in their classes.
There is also a Friday evening youth group which meets twice a month.
Home groups
We have 4 home groups and a central bible study at church. These groups meet in homes around the Greenlane area. Each group runs independently and meet weekly to encourage one another and to study God’s word together.
Hospitality
After morning worship, we gather in our church lounge to enjoy good coffee/tea and refreshments together. It is a time to catch up with one another and share our stories
Men’s ministry
Our Band of Brothers group meet for an excellent cooked breakfast on the first Saturday of the month at 8.00am. This is a time for the men to catch up with each other and there is always a challenging talk for the men.
Women’s ministry
The ladies meet monthly for a morning tea catch up where there is an opportunity to share what God is doing in our lives. We also have a quarterly Saturday morning gathering.
Alpha course
The Alpha course is run once a year, helping Christians to renew their faith and enquirers to come to a saving faith in Christ.
Socials through the year
At various times throughout the year, we arrange social events such as international lunch, light party, picnics, walks, cycle rides and on the third Sunday of every month we have Hospitality Sunday where we encourage people to invite someone to lunch in their homes.
