From Ben – 28 May 2017

Last Sunday night our church hosted the regional youth meeting. There were about 200 young people and their leaders drawn from the youth groups in the Presbyterian churches around Auckland. Tala and her team of young people led the program of praise and worship. There was lively worship, a drama, worshipful dance, a mission presentation, a talk and interpretative art. By God’s grace it all ran smoothly and all those who participated did so with confidence. After the presentation, we enjoyed a hearty feast of fantastic food supplied by Iraisa and our church family.
Looking back on an excellent presentation, I can only thank God for blessing us with such competent and effective youth. This is a blessing as it indicates that we are preparing and training the next generation of faith to continue the work of God as He said we must do. May I encourage you to support, encourage and where possible, get involved with our youth and children’s work. They are the future leaders of the Christian church in the years to come. Pray for Tala and her helpers to tirelessly keep up the good work they have already started with our young people.
