From Ben – 8 June 2014
I am writing to you from Suva in Fiji, as I am one of the speakers at the South Pacific Ministers conference. There are about 200 delegates drawn from Fiji and the surrounding islands. The other 2 speakers sharing the conference platform are the headmaster of the Fiji Bible College and a minister from Hawaii USA. It has been a wonderful experience to see the enthusiasm and interest of the delegates. Many of them are pastors and church leaders with a few students from the college.
What a blessing it has been to hear their vibrant singing without musical instruments and yet they harmonise beautifully. God is really doing wonderful work here on this island with many churches springing up and a number of missionaries working amongst the people and in the prisons. I have had the privilege of meeting and speaking with some of the missionaries and it is so exciting to see what God is doing.
I thought it’s worth mentioning that each day it is 25-39 degrees so I am getting let off some of the winter. I look forward to seeing you all soon.
